Automatic Updating of “Review Date” Custom Field

ADP has suggested the following enhancement around Review Date tracking:

Problem

• “Review Date” is a custom field used by ADP to measure engagement and content recency.
• Content owners often review an item but do not modify the content, so the review date does not change.
• This results in stale or misleading content health data.

Requested Enhancement

A system-driven trigger to auto-update the Review Date when content owners mark a review complete.

Specifically:

• When an item enters the review pipeline due to a scheduled review, and the content owner completes the review, Responsive should automatically update:
  • Last Review Date (custom field)
  • Updated date (already occurs)

Clarifications From Meeting

• Does not refer to “next review date.”
• Applies to scheduled, not on-demand, reviews (though could later expand).
• Should not require actual content edits.

@Lee Rohrbough Since this is a custom field it cannot be provided as a common solution. We may have to think of introducing a system defined field called "Last reviewed date" so that this field will be shown for all the customers (Not only for ADP) and this date can be updated if the user completes the review (With of without editing the content). But I need confirmation from @Natalie Berigan for the same. Please confirm.
