Comment from Federated Herms about Documents for AI feature.
@Khalees V
I have been experimenting with AI Documents and I’ve noticed some things that I think are confusing. Since this feature is still in beta, I wanted to give feedback to help improve the process and/or the help info. Please let me know if this is something I should put a ticket in for or if this is info you will pass along. Thank you!
If you have selected filters in the Project settings, you cannot search Project Documents (AI Documents) without clearing your filters first. If you select Project Documents, the filters remain and are grayed out so you can’t deselect them, which doesn’t make sense with the flow of the screen. The Content Type is above all of those filter so you would naturally make that select first and then deselect the filters as you scroll down.If you have filters selected and only search Project Documents, no results are returned. If you clear the filters, the system does a good job of matching the Q&As and pulling info in, but it does still miss some questions that are word for word the same.With the way the filters work with the Content Type, you can’t search Q&As and Project Documents at the same time and that’s not spelled out anywhere in help info.
When the response is pulled from the project document, the system shows that AI Assistance was used both on the AI Draft review page and the Answering page, which makes sense. But is also shows AL used, which implies that a Q&A from the library was used. It would make more sense for each type of content (Q&A, Documents, Project Documents, External Sites, and External Sources) to be specifically noted so it’s easy to distinguish which items you may have to review more closely. I would spend more time on something from an external source or project document than I would on something from the library.When you click on the source, you are just brought to the first page of the Project Document instead of where the information is found in the document. I know you mentioned this is in the works for Documents in the library. Is that being extended to Project Documents as well?
