Problem Statement
Organizations with multiple Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and reviewers often collaborate across different time zones and schedules. Today, once a section is assigned for review, individual questions within that section remain editable until the entire section is completed. This creates challenges when certain answers have already been finalized while others are still in progress.
As a result, reviewers or guest contributors can unintentionally modify answers that have already been approved, creating unnecessary rework, version conflicts, and confusion.
Requested Enhancement
Introduce the ability to lock individual questions within a section after they have been reviewed and approved, rather than requiring the entire section to be completed before content can be protected.
Additionally, provide a workflow that allows reviewers to leave comments without modifying the approved answer. This would enable reviewers to suggest improvements or raise questions while preserving the integrity of finalized responses.

Example Use Case
A proposal contains a section with several questions assigned to multiple SMEs. One reviewer approves an answer to a specific question and considers it final. Before the remaining questions in the section are completed, another reviewer opens the section and edits the previously approved answer. With question-level locking, the approved answer would remain protected, while the second reviewer could leave a comment or suggestion without altering the finalized response. This maintains content integrity while still enabling collaborative feedback.
