Enhancement Request
When using keyword search within a project, visually highlight occurrences of the searched keyword within the matching answer text.
Current Behavior
Project keyword search successfully identifies questions/answers containing the search term, but the matching word is not highlighted within the answer. Users therefore have to read through the full response to locate the relevant portion of the text. Sarah confirmed that Responsive does not currently provide this functionality and identified it as an enhancement request.
Desired Behavior
When a user searches for a keyword or phrase within a project:
- Matching questions/answers should continue to be returned as they are today.
- Every occurrence of the search term should be visually highlighted within the displayed question and/or answer text.
- The highlighting should make it easy to identify the surrounding paragraph or context without manually scanning the entire response.
Business Need / Use Case
Users frequently search long RFP responses to locate specific concepts or terminology. Search currently gets them to the correct response but not to the relevant portion of that response. Highlighting the matched term would significantly reduce the time required to locate and review relevant content, particularly in lengthy answers.
