Enhancement Request
When a question is assigned to multiple reviewers using the Any review sequence, automatically remove or otherwise resolve the pending review task for the remaining reviewers once one reviewer completes the required review.
Current Behavior
With an Any review sequence, completing the review satisfies the review requirement at the question/project level. However, the other assigned reviewers continue to appear as having pending reviews because they technically have not completed their individual review. The current workaround is to manually remove those reviewers.
This creates a discrepancy between the actual workflow state and the reviewer workload shown on the dashboard. The team noted that they commonly assign at least two reviewers, such as a primary contact and backup, making this a recurring issue rather than an edge case.
Desired Behavior
Once the required review has been completed for a question using the Any sequence:
- The review requirement should be considered satisfied for all workload/task reporting purposes.
- Other reviewers should no longer see the item as a pending or outstanding task.
- Ideally, the additional reviewers could remain associated with the question so they can optionally review it without appearing to have overdue/outstanding work.
Business Need / Use Case
The current behavior inflates reviewers’ pending-task counts and makes it difficult for proposal managers and SMEs to distinguish between work that genuinely requires action and work that has already been satisfied by another reviewer. Manually removing backup reviewers after every completed review creates unnecessary project-management overhead and can also prevent backup reviewers from optionally contributing.
