Problem Statement
Federated Hermes regularly receives due diligence questionnaires and RFPs as fillable PDF forms. Because Responsive does not currently support importing fillable PDFs, the team must first convert each document to Microsoft Word before importing it into Projects.
The conversion process introduces significant manual work. Fields, tables, text boxes, spacing, and formatting often require extensive cleanup before the document can be imported successfully. This additional effort increases preparation time, creates opportunities for formatting errors, and makes it difficult to create reusable Project Templates for recurring questionnaires.
Requested Enhancement
Add native support for importing fillable PDF questionnaires directly into Responsive Projects while preserving the document’s structure, form fields, tables, and formatting.
The imported questionnaire should be fully compatible with existing project mapping, answer types, AI features, and export functionality without requiring document conversion beforehand.
Business Impact
Federated Hermes processes approximately 3,100 DDQs annually, many of which are received as fillable PDFs. Native PDF import would eliminate repetitive document conversion and reformatting, significantly reduce project setup time, improve template creation for recurring questionnaires, and increase overall efficiency for high-volume response teams.
