This enhancement request is based on a client feedback discussion with Rodrigo from Feedzai regarding the Content Health Dashboard. The client shared detailed observations about the limitations in how the dashboard displays and links data.
1. Clickable metrics in the dashboard
Current limitation:
At present, the Content Health Dashboard shows indicators such as Added, Updated, Archived, and Trashed content. These are displayed as numerical values or summary counts. However, these numbers are not clickable. Users have no direct way to view which content items make up these counts. As a result, the dashboard becomes a passive indicator instead of a useful reporting tool.
Client impact:
Rodrigo finds this confusing because it requires manual checking to identify which items were added or updated. He feels that if the numbers are visible on the dashboard, they should directly lead to the data behind them. Without this function, users waste time trying to match numbers with actual content and lose confidence in the accuracy of the dashboard.
Request:
Make all metrics (Added, Updated, Archived, Trashed) clickable. When a user clicks on a number, it should open a filtered list of the relevant items. This will make the dashboard an actionable reporting tool rather than a static summary.
2. Classification view customization (Tagged content vs Added to Collection)
Current limitation:
The Classification section in the dashboard currently combines two types of content: Tagged content and content Added to Collections. This combined view assumes that both tagging and collection assignment are used for content organization. However, many customers use collections only for access control like restriction, not for classification or reporting.
Client impact:
Rodrigo mentioned that in his organization, collections are only used to restrict access. Because of that, including “Added to Collection” as part of the Classification data gives a misleading picture. It also causes the system to show action prompts such as “Take action on unassigned content” even when the client does not use collections for classification.
Request:
Introduce an option in the dashboard settings that allows users to choose whether the Classification card should display only Tagged content or only content Added to Collections. There should also be an option to hide collection-based prompts when the customer uses collections solely for access control.
