Our strategic account, Qualtrics has requested the ability to type a user's first or last name when assigning Content Owners to library content.
When assigning a Content Owner to content, currently you can begin typing characters that reside within a user's email address. Any emails containing those specific characters will appear and be selectable as a content owner.
However, if a user's email address does not include their first name and/or last name no suggestion will be presented. For example, if you begin typing "John", when their email reads "Jcarter@X.com", that user will not appear as a recommended content owner.
As a result, you need to know users' email addresses to search for them and assign them as content owners.
The functionality exists within Projects when assigning authors and reviewers. However, this functionality does not function the same within the Content Library.
Qualtrics has 1,000+ user accounts. Their email addresses do not align with users' first and last names. They have meticulously entered each users' first name and last name into each user profile. However, they have to continuously refer to their records in order to search based on email addresses. This is very time-consuming for them.
