I'm working on an RFP for a large opportunity at Anthem. They are a former Qvidian customer. One thing they ask about is something other Qvidian customers have requested (e.g. Cigna) is in relation to having permissions associated with Metadata Fields (standard and custom) in the AL.
They want to control (a) which custom fields are visible, based on user role and (b) which are editable by user role.
This came up again in the Anthem RFP: Ability for an admin to lock/restrict each Library field so only they or a designated user can populate/modify/see
I know this has been raised before, but wanted to add it to the list for consideration. I am certain this will come up from time to time, especially with enterprise-level former Qvidian customers
