I was doing some AL cleanup, and wondering if we could enhance this function with the ability to merge two tags together?
My example:
I saw tags for "Customer Support" and "Customer Service". I thought these could be merged or combined into one tag. When I went to change the name of one, i got the warning that the tag name should be unique. Here is a screen shot:
My thoughts/request:
It is good that we have this warning message, but it should read something like; "This tag name already exists"
After we tell the user the tag already exists, can we give them a proactive option to "combine tags"? i.e. "This tag name already exists. Click Here to combine the tags"
Otherwise, I have to go back to the AL and make sure I have gone and bulk updated all of the content with the tag I am wanting to change, then I can come back and change the tag in the Content Master Settings. I realize this can also be done in an export content -> import updates, but it would be good to have it in app.
