I know we are hard at work on the new UI. It's looking great so far, based on some of the initial renderings I have seen. However, I wanted to make a recommendation as it relates to the Main Menu in the Project screens. And that is that the Main Menu should be available at the head of every page within the projects area. Right now it is only available in the Sections view.
This means that if you want to perform some actions (Preview responses, Export response, access Project Settings etc.) while you are in a Section, you cannot do so, and have to navigate out of what you are doing, up to the Sections view. You need to remember where you came from in the project, since the "Pick Up Where You Left Off" option does not pop up because you didn't actually leave the project. This can be quite frustrating as a user.
(Obviously, not all the menu items can/should be visible from all project pages, but it should be fairly easy to grey-out or suppress any non-appropriate options in the menu)
