We recently had a concern raised by IWCO where they claimed that Auto respond functionality has become different while running multiple times. The issue was that the client had two response fields with two different headers that may or may not have data in the recommendations pane of AL.
After two re-runs that worked properly, there were still a few empty response fields. This was correct but Auto-Respond considered these as empty answer fields and not as fields for which Auto-respond was already run. This led to the issue of data getting copied/duplicated over from one field to the other, though they had different headers. Also though Auto-respond was already run for certain fields, that had no data and remained empty, AI recognized them as empty fields and didn't mark them as answered.
Client had some inputs to fix this as this'd limit the re-run of Auto response to just two runs for such fields with empty responses.
- In the Auto Respond pop-up window (see attached image Auto Respond 1), if we could add an additional checkbox that states mark Auto-responded response fields as answered and if checking on this checkbox would lead to already responded fields being marked as completed, then they can be excluded from the next run of Auto-respond.
- Another enhancement is to have an option to select certain answers to be excluded from Auto-respond. and to select such from the front, i.e the questions view.

Please check for feasibility for a near future release as client uses Auto-respond frequently and would like this added as soon as it would happen.
