PIMCO encounters a sizable quantity of excel-based projects in which they need to export to source. They need the ability to export annotated comments as they finish their projects outside of the platform and there is a lot that needs to be tracked/coordinated with other team members who are not in the platform.
The annotation function and its behavior for converting annotation comments to MS Word comments is very helpful but we do not have parity for this with Excel.
The idea is to provide Annotations - Comments and Internal to basic rich text answer type.
Internal - adding this annotation capability to basic rich text answer type would benefit library records that have internal annotations and get applied to projects so end-users can engage that material fully and create more on a project-specific basis.
Comments - adding this annotation capability to basic rich text so it actually exports and converts to a comment on the answer cell would be tremendously helpful and enable better engagement and reduced effort for large-scale Excel-based RFx involving many stakeholders.
