Current Behavior:
AI Draft currently operates at the section level. While Team Members are limited to their assigned questions based on their role, users with Admin with All Permissions can run AI Draft across all questions within a section.
Requested Enhancement:
Provide an option to run AI Draft at the author level, allowing users to generate AI Draft responses only for the questions assigned to a specific author/user, irrespective of the user's role within the project.
Use Case / Business Need:
Nasdaq has sections containing questions assigned to multiple authors. Running AI Draft for the entire section is not ideal because each author is responsible only for their assigned questions. The customer would like AI Draft to be scoped to the questions owned/assigned to the respective author, avoiding unnecessary AI generation for questions owned by other users.
Currently, the customer uses AI Assistant to generate responses individually for these scenarios, but an author-level AI Draft capability would provide a more efficient workflow.
Expected Behavior:
- Allow AI Draft to be triggered based on question ownership/author assignment.
- Generate AI Draft only for questions assigned to the selected/current author.
- The functionality should work irrespective of the user's project role, subject to the user's existing permissions.
- Questions assigned to other authors should not be included in the AI Draft operation.
Customer Confirmation:
The customer has explicitly confirmed that they would like this enhancement request raised with the Product team.
