When a full section is assigned to a guest, the guest portal renders the working area compressed into roughly the top 25% of the screen — even in the expanded view — making it cramped and difficult to use for long, narrative-style content. By contrast, assigning an individual Q&A pair uses the full screen. L2 engineering reproduced the scenario and confirmed this is the current expected (by-design) behavior for section assignments in the guest portal at 100% browser zoom, not a defect or misconfiguration.
Problem / customer impact
Our customers who work primarily in narrative, section-based (non-Q&A) proposals and rely on guest assignments for reviews and project tasks. The compressed section view significantly hampers the guest review/authoring workflow.
Requested enhancement
Evaluate and improve the guest portal layout when a full section is assigned, so the working area uses more of the available screen (comparable to the full-screen experience for Q&A-pair assignments) — particularly for lengthy, narrative, non-Q&A sections.
