I'm raising this enhancement request on behalf of our Enterprise client State Street.
Current Limitation:
- Password-protected files are supported when added as additional documents within a project but are not supported when importing them as source files.
- Customers must remove the password protection before importing the file as a source.
Proposed Solution:
- Enable password-protected files to be imported as source files, consistent with the existing support for additional project documents.
Benefits to State Street:
- Allows State Street users to import protected documents without modifying or removing security controls.
- Improves security and compliance by preserving file-level password protection.
- Reduces manual effort and provides a more seamless document import experience.
