Team, currently the 'content merge tags' can store only a single line of content rather than hold a block of content that has multiple new lines.
- While it makes sense to have them limited to a single line so as to be able to easily insert the same within existing statements there are scenarios where we would not need to place the same in statements. For e.g. a basic block of content for a Sales rep./Account Manager who needs to insert their details within their proposals (when info. is not populated from a CRM or there isn't a CRM in place) would be 'Name, Title, Email, Contact No'.
- Since users creating the 'content merge tags' would be aware of their usage we wouldn't have to worry about bringing in any logic to manage single line 'content merge tags' vs multi-line 'content merge tags' i.e. a user who has multi-line 'content merge tags' would not place the same into an existing statement rather have it as a placeholder separately.
- In case we need to make users aware of the same, we could drop a help note during the creation of the 'content merge tags' with regards to the usage.
