FIS has requested for this enhancement on the back on TKT -214996
Current Behavior:
When a bulk owner change is performed, the system immediately removes the existing owner from all selected QA pairs, including those in the review queue. For QA pairs in the review queue, the new owner is only assigned in the metadata. If the new owner is also a reviewer, they are not reflected as the reviewer until the review is completed.
Issue:
This creates a temporary gap where QA pairs in the review queue have no active reviewer, the old owner has been removed, and the new owner has not yet been reflected. This impacts review continuity and ownership visibility during that window.
Requested Enhancement:
Update the bulk owner change logic so that when the new owner is also a reviewer, they are immediately reflected as the reviewer for QA pairs in the review queue, rather than waiting until the review cycle completes.
Impact if Addressed:
Eliminates the ownerless gap for in-review QA pairs, improves reviewer continuity, and reduces confusion/support escalations tied to bulk owner changes.
