Customer: Accruent
Unable to "deactivate" a project type field that is no longer needed. It is not associated with any active or current project, and all the projects it is associated with are in the Archive folder.
The workaround solution :
The project type must first be updated or removed from all archived projects. Once it is no longer linked to any projects, we will be able to inactivate it from the organization settings.
Enhancement request: Since the ability to deactivate a project type without removing existing associations is not currently supported
