Hi Responsive community! I'd love to know how others are handling template export formatting. Specifically with numbered headers.
We're working with Responsive and have been for months now over our template/exports. It's been frustrating. We're having issues with numbering. Our sections are numbered headings tied to our Heading 1 style. Sub sections tied to level 2 (Heading 2). We also went into Org Settings and tied our heading styles in the response to the same heading styles/template since we may have 2, 3, or 4 level headings within a response. When this happens, though, the headings aren't mapping to the styles correctly, therefore, requiring us to manually map all the headings in the template. We were told that our template didn't need to have all levels of headers defined, which may have been bad advice since I find myself recreating our template styles after export so that all levels are styled correctly. We've got two Proposal Managers with over 50 years combined experience cleaning this template so that it's bare bones. Still, not mapping correctly.
We were recently told this is the first time Responsive has received this issue and that headers within the document are ONLY informed by the section, so we would need to make a subsection for next level headers. This would mean that for an Experience section with a single question (briefly describe your experience) we would have to break it up into subsections within Responsive if we want a 2nd level header for History, Location, Roadmap, etc. This seems tedious and confusing. But we're also taking a lot time (days) to format after export.
Any help from people who've got a template they like with numbered headers would be greatly appreciated!
