Team, currently our 'Content Usage Alert/Alert Text' is very basic in what it can do. While there are multiple use cases around the same, will focus on one which has frequently come up with our customers i.e. the ability to notify users/owners when content with Alert text is used or to have them auto assigned as reviewers to the query. Suggestions to implement the same is as follows;
- Add a 'Notify users/owners' option in the Answer Editor for when content with the 'Content Usage Alert/Alert Text' is used within a response.
- Make it mandatory to have/set an owner for content that has a 'Content Usage Alert/Alert Text'.
- Ability to add Rich text rather than just basic rich text.
- Ability to add the user/owner as a reviewer to the Q&A pair where the content with the Alert text is being used.
- Track the same within Reports/Dashboards
- Currently, when we use Auto Respond, content having the alert gets applied without any pop-ups. This can seem counter-intuitive.
a. Either provide an option to add or ignore content with alert text within Auto Respond.
Let me know if you require more details on the same.

Absolutely agree with this. A similar use case mentioned by one of our late stage deals, Micro Focus, was mentioned during our last call. Here is the snippet - https://app.gong.io/call?id=5277980041997278462&highlights=[{"type":"SHARE","from":675,"to":746}]
Essentially, their request was for the alert to add a predetermined user as a reviewer every time the content was used.

Rich Text could be a helpful enhancement -- customers like to use Alert Text to add a link to another source, so they currently just add the URL in Alert Text but it is not 'clickable' and they have to copy/paste the URL into a new tab or window in their browser to open it.
