Currently, when content SMEs log into the content library, they land in the “All” queue by default. To view only their own content, they must manually filter to “My Content.” If they forget, they risk accidentally reviewing or editing content owned by others, creating confusion and rework.
This issue is particularly challenging for SMEs who:
- Only interact with their assigned content.
- Have less familiarity with the full content queue structure.
- Are focused on quick, task-oriented review work.
Proposed Enhancement
Introduce a restricted default view or role-based queue visibility option for SMEs.
Option A: Default “My Content” View for SME Roles
- When an SME logs in or opens the content library, the system automatically applies the “My Content” filter.
- The SME can still manually switch to “All” if granted permission.
Option B: Restricted Queue Access for SME Roles
- SMEs only see content items where they are directly associated (owner, assignee, or reviewer).
- Removes “All Content” visibility for SME-only users.
- Ideal for organizations that want strict content access controls.
