AI Draft Should Adhere to Character Type and Character Limits

I’m submitting this enhancement request on behalf of our strategic client Qualatrics.

Description of Issue: Qualtrics discovered that when importing a project and setting limits on character type or character/word limits, AI Draft does not recognize or comply with these configured restrictions. As a result, Proposal Managers must spend hours manually rewriting AI Draft responses to meet the required limits.

Current Behavior:

AI Draft generates responses that exceed or ignore character/word count limits.
The system does not enforce formatting or character type restrictions set during project import.

Impact:

Significant increase in manual effort for Proposal Managers.
Slows down the overall proposal process.
Reduces confidence in AI Draft’s efficiency and reliability.

Requested Enhancement: Implement functionality in AI Draft to respect and enforce character type and character limits set during project import, ensuring generated responses automatically comply with these constraints.

Qualtrics understands that Responsive currently alerts users when a restricted response field exceeds its configured limit. However, their request is that AI Draft proactively recognize and honor those restrictions when initially crafting responses.

For example, if a response field requires 50 characters or fewer, they would like AI Draft to generate a response that already meets this requirement, rather than creating a longer response that then needs to be revised after the fact.

Would this type of enhancement be feasible for consideration?

@Khalees V Qualtrics understands that Responsive will alert them when a restricted response field exceeds it's configured limit. However, their request is that AI Draft would be able to recognize any size/type restrictions when crafting a response AND honor those known restrictions when initially crafting the AI Draft response. If a response field requires a response of 50 or less characters, Qualtrics would like AI Draft to be aware of this restriction and craft an initial response that's 50 or less characters, so they don't have to revise the AI-generated response after the fact. @Khalees V I have tested this within my own project. I do not have "Skip Limit" enabled for any questions and still the AI responses (AI Assistant & AI Draft) do not respect the "Text Input Limit" configured. Screenshots below:
