Unable to Relate French and English Q&A Pairs Due to Access Restrictions

User Aurelie from Allianzgi reported that created a French Q&A pair that he is trying to relate to its corresponding English version. However, the Relate option appears greyed out, and he is unable to proceed.

We provided the solution this was due to role permission however user has the following request and submit this as an enhancement request "

Wouldn't it be more reasonable that the Owner should be able to relate all kind of Q&A pairs, since there is no risk that he/she will be able to interfere with the content of the related Q&A pairs?
Our approach is that we relate/subscribe Q&A pairs in different languages so that we can track changes in translations. And the different language versions often have different Owners. English-language pairs usually serve as parent content, while German and French pairs are translations "only".

@support You mentioned wrong sathish. But my question here is, whenever the Q&A pair is translated it will be related to the parent Q&A pair. Having said this why would the user want to manually relate to parent Q&A pair?

Customer Requirement:

The customer maintains multilingual Q&A content by linking German and French translations to their corresponding English parent Q&A pairs. To ensure translation accuracy, they need to track updates made to the English originals.

Currently, only content Owners can relate or subscribe to Q&A pairs. However, the users responsible for translations are often not the Owners of the English source content, which prevents them from managing these links and subscriptions effectively.

Requested Enhancement:

Allow users to relate to Q&A pairs regardless of ownership, enabling better collaboration and maintenance of translated content across languages.

@support If my understanding is correct, the customer wants the non owners to subscribe to certain Q&A pairs for the content update so that those non owners can translate their content based on the subscribed content updates. Please confirm.
