I am submitting this enhancement request on behalf of our strategic client, Microsoft.
Request:
We request that when a previously closed project section is reopened for edits, the system preserves all historical review data, including the green check marks next to reviewer icons.
Current Issue:
- Reopening a section currently clears all prior review history.
- This results in the loss of critical indicators that show which content was reviewed and by whom.
- Reviewers lose visibility into completed work, even when only minor edits (e.g., adding evidence) are made.
Impact:
- Reviewers must reopen sections for minor updates, unintentionally wiping out confirmation of completed reviews.
- Enterprise clients like Microsoft manage complex projects involving multiple authors and reviewers, making historical review context vital.
- Losing this context disrupts workflows and introduces risk into compliance, auditability, and content accuracy.
Proposed Solution:
- Ensure that reopening a section retains all historical review data, including reviewer checkmarks and completion indicators.
Benefits:
- Improved Efficiency: Reviewers can focus only on changes, not revalidating completed content.
- Error Reduction: Maintains audit trails and minimizes the chance of overlooked content.
- Enhanced User Experience: Reduces confusion and frustration for users navigating reopened sections.

Thank you for your consideration.
