I am submitting this enhancement request on behalf of our strategic client, Microsoft.
Request:
- We request that all project sections, particularly those added manually, be selected by default when exporting a project. Currently, users must manually select these sections, which is often overlooked and leads to incomplete exports.
Current Limitation:
- When additional Section Templates are added to an existing project, the newly added sections are not selected by default for export.
- Users must manually check the boxes next to each new section before exporting.
- This extra step is frequently missed, causing confusion when expected content is missing from the Word (Response Template) export.
Proposed Solution:
- Automatically include all project sections, both default and manually added in the export by default.
- Users can then deselect any sections they wish to exclude.
Benefits:
- Improved Efficiency: Reduces the number of clicks and manual steps.
- Error Reduction: Minimizes missed sections due to forgotten selections.
- Enhanced User Experience: Simplifies the export process and supports smoother project workflows.
