Our POC has been tasked in creating a easier/better way for their sales teams to create better more seamless RFXs. Ideally, their sales teams need the ability to pull in sections into their Projects with Merge Tags and these are necessary for custom fields. So mandatory fields are necessary in the project creation about page but this team would like to minimize the mandatory fields to have their team have a more efficient creation project.
This is also impacting the "Project template" module where the same mandatory fields are still necessary to fill out during this process which is causing sales teams to spend more time filling out these project templates.
Their product enhancement feature would be the ability to create different project types that have different mandatory fields for each project type and we would mirror this in the project templates field.
