On Demand Review Notifications

Prime Therapeutics would like to consolidate the notifications for On Demand reviews in the content library. Ideally, they could queue and notify later so the reviewer receives a single notification with all the assigned work instead of separate notifications.

@Pablo Ojeda On demand review can be initiated individually and in bulk. Either ways the user's assigned as reviewers will receive separate email for each content. If it has to be queued and sent as one email there might be a scenario if same day is set as a due date and if it is queued and sent as a single email by end of the day it will be a problem for the reviewer. Hence it is sent immediately. Can you share your thoughts on this?

@sathish s I spoke to Prime Therapeutics and they said that they only use the On Demand review feature for reviews that are out of cycle and not something that would be due the same day. So if record is due for review in one month as part of its regular cycle but they need to review prior to that for whatever reason they could create an On Demand review.

@Pablo Ojeda Okay. If this is the case, I have a suggestion. Let me know if this works. Irrespective of type of review, on a daily basis an email is sent to each user which shows the no of content in review and moderation. Instead of sending the on demand review once in a day, can we create a "Product communication preference" to switch off the on demand review email which is sent immediately for each content so that the user can stop this email and make use of the existing daily email to view the content in review? Let me know your thoughts.
