Would be great if we had the option to "Send Mail" when on the Task page. This would enhance project management and allow clients to more easily follow up on outstanding tasks. While you can send an email from the overview page, it doesn't provide as much detail or ability to send a mail to only specific users with overdue tasks

Hi Nicole,
Thanks for submitting the idea. We are already sending an email like "Daily Task Report" and "Weekly Summary Report" where the user will noted about all the tasks. As you said we do have a send message option for the Task in the overview page of the project. We do have comment option to notify the client about the overdue tasks. I feel like there would too many notifications that overwhelm the inbox. Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks Deepan - I understand what you mean and while the Daily Task & Summary reports are helpful, there can be a need at times for a Project Manager to request an update on a specific task. While commenting does accomplish this it requires the user to leave the task page and go to the discussion page, as there isn't a way to comment directly on a task. Adding that "send mail" or even an "add comment' option to this page would allow the project manager to stay on one page and minimize extra clicks.
