Editing translated, subscribed content

Autumn with Jaggaer requested the following in content translation.

"We had a ticket for this topic - 55828 Translations. When a user is subscribed to a translated Q&A pair they will receive a notification in their subscribed content queue. Once the user opens this queue, they will see the English Q&A pair with edits they are to make in the translated Q&A pair they are subscribed to. But they are only able to make edits to the answer. They are not able to make edits if an alert was added, a tag was added or taken away, none of the metadata can be edited in this window. We would like to ask for that enhancement - for all of the text and metadata to be able to be edited at the same time in this window. Thanks!"

@Pablo Ojeda Yes. Ability to edit meta data is not available at the moment. We will consider this for future implementation based on the request from other customers. Thank you!

@sathish s Jaggaer has thousands of translations so this is becoming more of an issue. Is this something we can consider soon?

@Pablo Ojeda Since we are working on current commitments given to customer asks, as of now we are not able to determine the timeline, we understand the need of the request, we will discuss with our team and come up with the plan for this.

@viswanathan This has come up again with Jaggaer. They would like the users to have the ability to edit metadata on translated items in the content library. Is this something that can be considered for next year?

Hi @VISWA S - This is still an important issue for Jaggaer (Strategic). Is there any way we can review this and provide a timeline?

@lee Let me check this with RRT team. @manjula Customer is requesting the ability to update the metadata while making the changes to the subscribed content. As of now users can only make changes to the responses and not for metadata.

@lee In subscription page, we show only properties of the metadata and hence it cannot be edited there.
