Capacity Planning Ideas

Hello! Does anyone have a system/tool in place they use to manage capacity planning and reporting? We are working with a very basic Excel calculator right now that uses factors to evaluate incoming requests based on a number of factors like # of questions, complexity, timeline, localization requirements, etc. I'm curious to know how others track writer capacity & request complexity to make assignments.

Hello @Chelsea Rutter we do something similar but then go a step further and use time in responsive to show on average per project complexity we spend X number of hours. So, for a High complex project on average we may spend 200 hours vs a Low complex is 45 hours. We also look at utilization as well by month/quarter per team member…all coming from the application usage report. Lastly…we look at our pipeline and see by quarter which opps we "think" will have an RFP associated with it….so with all of this we are looking at historically what we've done and what is headed our way. I hope this makes sense.
