Client has given the below feedback regarding the new UI and the benefits of having keyboard commands.
Your product would be far improved, either new or old UI, by giving keyboard commands that mean don't have to pick up the mouse and take my hands off the keyboard. I get asked to fill out long, painful security questionnaires and every time I have to take my hands off the keyboard to click on something is a huge waste of time. Alternatively, a command line version or text only version would be phenomenal.
