Exporting Questions with numbered list in the template

In source document, if the question count starts from 1(numbered list) in each section, the numbered list questions are retained in the import as well. Now, while the questions are exported in template, the question numbers are retained as text and not the numbered list.

Client requests for enhancement that the retained numbered list questions should be exported in template as numbered list and not just a text.

Note: We will not be able to create a style with numbering because this will generate the continuous question numbering and not what the expected.

Kindly check on the possibilities of the client request.

@sneha Retaining the numbers as the numbered list is a valid ask. We will let you know if we prioritize it in future.

Do you know if they are applying styles to questions?
Can you attach sample source file to check.

Upvoted. When customers select "retain numbering" the number from the import is exported as the question text. This causes double numbering for customers who have a numbered list style for questions in their response template.

@khalees Sorry, I don't get notifications for this. I just came back today to submit another idea. Let me pull together some files. I know a client with some example templates we can use for testing. I didn't have any from the customer I upvoted this for. I was thinking we could maybe (working theory here) resolve some of the headache of this if we could have the option to put a tab after the numbers instead of a space. It might fix some of these issues.
