US Bank ($146k ARR) is also inquiring about this. Here is their documented use case below:
Enhancement Request: 'Sequential' Content Review Functionality
Current State:
The RFPIO Content Library offers the option to 'Enable Scheduled Review' that we utilize for every piece of content (over 1,600 for our team alone). Under that functionality, the 'Review Process' includes two options ('Any' or 'All') and we utilize both.
Issue/Use Case
There is no 'Sequential' Review Process option. Our Marketing team would like to review content last, after the product manager/other owners. Right now, there is no easy way to determine when it is the right time for Marketing to complete a 'final' review before moderation. We have tried the comment feature, but the automatic emails from RFPIO were too high in volume to be a beneficial/realistic process. The Sequential functionality already exists in projects (section review), so we are hoping that this can be a simple roadmap addition for RFPIO to implement.
Benefits
Clearer direction for our Marketing team and fewer emails from the system to multiple owners (many unnecessarily). This enhancement will also help by avoiding items falling into an expired status due to confusion in the review status.

This is definitely a freqently requested feature and I'm pretty sure this has been suggested by others via S4 in the past. I know I have a lot of clients who have asked for this and I also requested it as a customer.

Compugen is keenly interested and would be open to participating in a pilot if this comes to pass
