Comments on Content Library Q&A Pairs

Hi everyone! When I make a comment on a Q&A pair in the content library, RFPIO sends a notification to any participants in previous comments on the same Q&A pair. Even if that previous comment is resolved.

For example I am commenting on some changes that need to be made to an answer, and it notifies someone who made a comment on a separate issue (with the sam Q&A pair) 6 months ago that was resolved. Just looking to see if anyone else has run into this and might have a workaround.

Yikes. No, I haven't - but it does ping the owner when I do comment. Would like to here if more people have similar issue.

@Adam Watt Great question!

When you click on the "comment" icon on a QA pair, the comment panel will open up on the righthand side. There's a toggle labeled "Follow Discussion" which will remove you from any current or future conversations for that QA pair. If you want to bring someone back into the conversation then all you would have to do is "@" them and they'll be notified.

Thank you @alexis@rfpio.com and @Patty Graner. The person who received the notification is actually the owner as well. So I think that is what it was. But good to know about the follow discussion switch.

We have a similar issue. Comments come over from a project when we send to the library. When an owner does their annual review or makes a comment in the library, they are having trouble following that the comment string is old, or from a project versus comments they are being asked to respond to now. Also, our proposal writers (who are authors as well) get notifications when new comments are added in the library - when they were only involved from a project standpoint. It would be great if comments went to our moderator. And if project comments are greyed out and provided as background information.
