On a demo today the prospect had a requirement that is fundamentally addressed by linking content/subscribing to change notifications, but not Q&A to Q&A.
They wanted linking/notification between Documents and Q&A (not by simply attaching via a document link).
The use case is this:
1/ They have Q&A records that summarise some of their operating policies. This will have the appropriate policy PDF attached to it.
2/ If the policy PDF changes, it's possible the Q&A record would need to be changed too.
3/ They would like to be able to alert the Q&A owner that something changed in the attached doc and they should look at the content.
Will our content consolidation approach provide for this type of linkage/notification subscription between content types? (Doc to Q&A, Section to Doc, Section to Q&A, Doc to Catalog etc).
