I've been working with my client, Cambia Health Solutions, on notification settings and what to expect when comments are present on a question in a project.
Is it expected behavior for all users in the comments of a Question in a Project to receive an email notification, even if a new thread has been started? For example, I @ mentioned Shawn in the first comment thread, then started a new thread and @ mentioned Tyler, and Shawn received an email for his notification and me mentioning Tyler. I also tested this with unchecking the 'Follow Discussion' box but both there were still 2 notifications sent.
This isn't ideal for users when they are not @ mentioned/a part of the new thread and are already complaining about receiving too many notifications from RFPIO.
Is this how it's supposed to function or if this is a bug/enhancement request? Any insight is helpful!
