I am working with a prospect that is multi-geographical, and has users that only speak their local languages. (Mainly English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese). However, nearly all their RFPs, are received, and responded to, in English.
While I have taken through all our language-related capabilities (Multi-langage content support in AL, Multi-language UI, Translations in AL, and Translations of incoming projects), they have a request that I could not think how to address.
That is to say, that when assigning questions to Authors or Reviewers in a Project, They wanted the ability to only translate the selected questions (and answers if applied) into the Author/Reviewer's local language, upon assignment. Once the Author/Reviewer had completed their work, they wanted to then translate the Questions/Answers back to English within the project.
When the project is completed, they wanted to export the response out, in English, as usual.
I can think of ways we can do part of the above, but not the entire workflow.
Any suggestions? (I would appreciate a prompt response to this, as I committed to update the customer by end of week)
Seems like we need to offer Translation when we Assign, and then Translation at the question level in the project. As an aside, I can see how the above may be valuable for other multilingual customers, so would appreciate it if we could add it to the backlog of possible enhancements.
