I have had a handful of clients (MM and ENT) want the ability to identify specific users and/or teams, roles of users to have the ability to bypass moderation when they make edits to a Q&A pair in the AL.
Currently - You can choose roles to bypass moderation only for net new Q&A pairs that are added individually or uploaded directly in the AL. However, you don't have the ability to identify users to bypass moderation on any edits made to a Q&A pair.
Use Cases:
Client has identified their Admin w/ All Permissions and they are confident in these users to make changes to Q&As on the fly. When they decide to add a tag or catch a grammar error or change even just one word, it has to go through moderation which is routed to their specified role (Admin w/ All Permissions) so then one of them has to go through moderation to move it through. If they forget to do this, it doesn't appear in the AL or rec engine if they dont moderate their own Q&A edit first.
Client has segmented AL i.e. Info Sec vs. Proposal Team. They want the proposal teams collections to run through moderation but the Info Sec team doesn't want to use moderation.

Nathan,
The request makes sense. We will consider this for future enhancement.
Besides roles, we will also consider other criteria (e.g., if the owner of the content makes the edit skip moderation).
