The current system behavior allows multiple authors to respond simultaneously to a question when a question is assigned to more than one author. As soon as an author saves the answer, the other authors in the section/question will receive a message after 20 seconds of saving the answer. You can accept the edits made by another author and override your response by selecting ACCEPT INCOMING CHANGES.
Customers would benefit from the ability to see simultaneous edits, similar to the way Google Docs or SharePoint works. This would be a huge differentiator for the frontline sales team and open up new areas of opportunity for collaboration in the platform.

While multi-stage authoring may fix this to an extent the problem will still persist when there are more than one authors.
In fact when multiple authors start editing the response, the changes don't even reflect immediately (neither does the notification come sometimes) unless you refresh the page (only the Activities get updated). There are workarounds but they aren't intuitive.

Another user from Roche requested for the same feature
- Simultaneously edit and save the responses of all the authors.
- Indicating the authors editing the response about whether their edit has been accepted or rejected.
For the client, this seems to be a critical issue since they have more than one author simultaneously working on answering the questions and requesting for us to work on their scenarios suggested.
