I'm submitting this request on behalf of the client "Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan".
Request:
Enhance the dropdown menu display field in Responsive to show a longer portion of the selected dropdown value, ideally 10–15 words or a display width comparable to the response field.
Current Limitation:
The dropdown display field currently shows only approximately the first five words of a selected option. When multiple dropdown values begin with the same wording, users are unable to easily distinguish between selections, leading to confusion and reduced usability.

Proposed Solution:
Increase the width or visible character limit of the dropdown display field so users can view more of the selected option text. This could include:
- Expanding the dropdown field width to match the response field size
- Allowing dynamic text expansion or tooltip hover behavior
- Increasing the visible text limit from ~5 words to 10–15 words
Benefits to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan:
- Improves usability and user experience when working with dropdown selections
- Reduces confusion caused by similar dropdown option prefixes
- Minimizes the risk of selecting incorrect options
- Enhances efficiency and accuracy during questionnaire and response management
- Provides better visibility into selected values without requiring additional clicks or guesswork
