Enhancement Request: Section-Level Compliance Summary View for RFP Responses

Hi Team,

I would like to submit an enhancement request on behalf of Nasdaq to better support their RFP response process.

Overview:
Nasdaq’s team prepares a Compliance Summary as part of their RFP workflow to identify gaps and assess potential risks prior to final submission.

Current Challenge:
At present, there is no centralized view within RFPIO that provides section-level compliance visibility. This makes it difficult to quickly evaluate overall readiness and pinpoint areas that require attention before submission.

Requested Enhancement:
A dedicated section within the RFPIO dashboard that displays compliance status at a section level, with clear visibility into:

Fully compliant questions
Partially compliant questions
Non-compliant questions / identified gap areas

Expected Outcome / Business Impact:
This enhancement would streamline their review process, improve risk identification, and enable faster, more confident final submissions. It would also enhance executive-level visibility into response readiness.

Please let me know if any additional details are required to evaluate this request further.

Do you know how they want to build compliance matrix?
1. Fields
2. Should it auto populate?
3. Compliance marking based on answers to questions in the project?
4. Do they need this compliance marking at each question level?
5. Who will be reviewing this matrix?
6. What actions and decisions they will take based on the matrix?
Can we get sample matrix?
Can we recommend Fit Analysis agent where they can get this compliance details upfront before starting the project?

Compliance Matrix Structure
- How do you envision building the compliance matrix?

Nasdaq: Almost every RFP has compliance Matrix prescribed by prospects like Supported/Partially Supported/Custom/Not Supported etc. Every prospect has their own way of defining compliance and it is specified in RFP document.

What fields or data points would need to be included?

Nasdaq: We want to know after completing RFP response where do we stand currently in terms of compliance. Currently we need to extract RFP and do manual compilation. We need real-time view as we are completing RFP.

Automation Expectations
- Should the compliance status auto-populate based on predefined criteria?

Nasdaq: Compliance should be read from RFP documents.

Would the compliance marking be derived from the answers within the project?

Nasdaq: Yes

Do you expect compliance tagging at the individual question level as well?

Nasdaq: Compliance is always at individual question level. It’s a bottom-up approach where you take every question whether it is supported, not supported, partially supported etc. and provide summary view on this.

Review & Ownership
- Who would typically review this compliance matrix (e.g., bid team, compliance team, executives)?

Nasdaq: Compliance Matrix is used by Bid Manager, Senior management, Sales team to take high level view of our proposal and take any key decisions based on this summary.

At what stage of the RFP lifecycle would this be reviewed?

Nasdaq: This is typically helpful at the close end of RFP response cycle

Actions & Decision-Making
- What actions or decisions would be taken based on the matrix output?

Nasdaq: Compliance matrix will help us to either improvise our positioning for the proposal or if our compliance is not up to the mark after RFP response – we might backout/qualify ourselves out of this deal. Despite doing initial qualification – it does happen sometimes that initial fitment was incorrect since certain assumption made at the beginning are not true after further clarification evolved at later stage.

Would it influence bid/no-bid decisions, risk mitigation planning, or executive approvals?

Nasdaq: Yes, it will influence all these points – typically every proposal is presented to Senior management for deal review where all of the above points mentioned does get influenced.

- If possible, could you share a sample compliance matrix you currently use (even in Excel format)? This would help us better understand your expected output.

Regarding the timeline: We do not have definite timeline to integrate this capability with Response Project. We will keep you informed when we prioritize it.
