I'm submitting this enhancement request on behalf of strategic client "Fiserv" .
Request:
Enhancement regarding permissions required to create projects from Project Templates
Current Limitation:
Users cannot see the “Create Project from Template” button unless the Create Project Templates permission is enabled. This single permission controls both creating templates and creating projects from templates. The user reports that these were previously two separate permissions, and the Help article still reflects outdated information.
Proposed Solution:
Introduce a separate permissions for:
1. Creating/Saving Project templates
2. Creating projects from existing templates.
Benefits to Fiserv:
- Provides more granular permission control.
- Reduces unnecessary access for users who only need to create projects from templates, not modify templates.
- Aligns system behavior with user expectations and documentation, reducing confusion and support tickets.
