Delete Custom Field should not remove its association from the project

We have an request from the client Angelika Joachimowicz - Genetec. Whenever, a custom field's values are deleted from org settings, customer would like its association with project kept intact.

They would not want to use the custom field anymore, hence they have deleted it from org settings, however they would like to maintain its historical data.

@sweetha Understood the problem. They would like to retain the previous value for reporting. We will keep you informed when we consider this in future.
