Description:
Currently, the project dashboard under the “Sections Summary” view only displays progress for sections that have been assigned to authors or reviewers. While the dashboard provides visibility into section and QA assignment progress, it does not track or display sections that remain unassigned.
This creates a gap in visibility for project managers who need to monitor the completeness of assignments and ensure all sections are properly owned. As a result, unassigned sections can be easily overlooked, leading to delays in project delivery and incomplete reports.
Intended Behavior / Enhancement Request:
- Enhance the Sections Summary dashboard to include a clear indicator or count of unassigned sections.
- Allow users to view which specific sections are unassigned and their current status.
- Ideally, provide a filter or visual cue (e.g., a color code or separate category) to quickly identify these unassigned sections.
Expected Outcomes:
- Improved visibility into project assignment status.
- Faster identification and assignment of unowned sections.
- Reduced risk of delays due to missed sections.
- More comprehensive dashboard reporting for project managers and administrators.
