Purpose:
To enhance collaboration and streamline communication by allowing users to raise clarification requests at the Section level, in addition to the current Question-level functionality.
This improvement will help teams manage broader clarification needs that apply to an entire section rather than individual questions, reducing redundancy and improving response efficiency.
Background and Current Limitation:
- Currently, the tool allows users to raise clarification requests only at the Question level.
- However, certain queries or ambiguities often relate to an entire Section, not just a single question.
- As a result, users must raise multiple question-level clarifications for related items, which can be repetitive, time-consuming, and less efficient.
- The E& team has identified this limitation and expressed the need to enable Section-level clarification requests for better collaboration and clarity.
Proposed Enhancement:
Introduce a Section-level Clarification capability that allows users to:
- Raise a single clarification request applicable to the entire section.
- Tag relevant stakeholders or reviewers for that section.
- View and manage both Section-level and Question-level clarifications within the same interface.
- Optionally link the Section-level clarification to specific questions for contextual reference.
Expected Outcomes:
- Improved Efficiency: Reduce the need for multiple repetitive clarification requests on similar topics within a section.
- Better Collaboration: Enable holistic discussions at the section level for greater context and understanding.
- Enhanced Traceability: Provide clear visibility into which sections have pending or resolved clarifications.
