I am new to the PSC team. I moved over recently from a Responsive client. As a client, I suggested a new feature enhancement that was not chosen to be built out. Currently my previous company's foreign language libraries are not accurate due to not having this feature.
I have been at Responsive as an employee for 6 weeks and have already spoken with two clients - RL Datix and Hexagon - who need these enhancements. These current clients don't know they need these enhancement yet because they are just starting with translated and subscribed content. The workflow for using subscribed content to relate content together is so there is an automatic notification when the English/Original Q&A pair is updated. The subscribed content owner needs to know there is content pending and they need to be able to edit the metadata.
1.First request - When content the subscribed owner is subscribed to is edited, the content is pushed to the subscribed owners instance (the super admin and admins can't see this - only the subscribed owner can see it in their instance). Subscribed Content will appear in the subscribed owners left side navigation - see below. ***Currently there are no email notifications to let the subscribed owner know content is pending. They must randomly hover over the navigation to see if there is content waiting to be edited. Is there a way to send an email notification to the subscribed owner when content is pushed to their instance?
2. Second request - Once the subscribed owner opens the pending content to edit - the owner can only edit the question and the answer. The owner can't edit any of the metadata. This is crucial if tags, alerts, flags, owners, etc. need to be added or removed. Is there a way the metadata can become editable in this side-by-side window? **Note - I love the side-by-side view! It is very easy to see what is added/removed and the ability to retranslate for larger changes.
