As mapping is one of the labor intensive aspects of project management, does Responsive have plans to automate the mapping process in future versions? Perhaps AI mapping bots are on the horizon?
Hi @Scott Boys!
Responsive has already introduced automation and AI-driven capabilities to streamline the mapping process within project management. The platform features File Mapping Agents and Document Shredding Agents that automatically ingest and organize complex documents such as RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and VSQs, setting up key sections, including tables in Word, questions, and answers for efficient management in the Responsive SRM Platform. These agents help teams bypass formatting issues and reduce manual mapping effort. Document Shredding Agents autonomously extract key requirements and insights from documents, further minimizing manual intervention. These intelligent agents are available as part of Responsive’s Early Access Program, and ongoing development continues to expand their capabilities with more advanced automation features planned for future releases.
We also offer Word Import Automation, primarily focused on ILPAs, to further simplify the mapping process.
I would highly recommend reaching out to your Customer Success Manager to verify what is included in your current package, what’s coming on our roadmap, and which tools you can leverage today to enhance the mapping process.
Thanks Renee. I've seen the mapping tools within Responsive, which is what I think you are referring to, but I was thinking of something along the lines of a fully automated ingestion and mapping solution (i.e., no manual human interaction required to complete the mapping process).
Update: I learned today that the Word Import Automation capability is also available for Proposal Tech-based RFx projects—which is great news! Another common system we receive RFx requests through is TBS/Greater Insight, but I'm not sure if Word Import Automation is available yet for that system's structured format.
I am watching this as well. PropsalTech and TBS are the two big systems that we use as well.
