My customer (Dynatrace) has a custom field which they use for their project number. This helps them identify a project internally and is used more than the project name for ID purposes. In the classic UI, this project number is displayed on the top of the page when they are in a project, so they can easily know what project they are in. However, in the new UI, only the project name is listed which is causing the team hesitancy to move over to the new UI.
Could we consider allowing customers to choose one or a couple custom fields to include on the project page at the top of the screen? I can see that the custom fields that are important would vary by customer, but if we could allow them to customize that (similar to our display options in the AL) I think this could solve that issue for Dynatrace. We have removed the Auto incremental field value in the new UI. I believe we might have done it, to avoid more cluttters. We will analyse it, when we get similar feedbacks from clients and add it to our list of roadmap items.
