Currently, it is possible to transfer project details, sections, questions, answers, authors and reviewers to a cloned project. But it is not possible to transfer the comments to a cloned project.
I believe this is a good idea if you want to clone a project for a backup and you want a complete backup of a project, which includes the comments as well.
